The Phoenix Frequencies

Episode 20 (self)Compassion for Beginners

Nienke van Bezooijen Season 2 Episode 20

Compassion with a mental approach is going towards sympathy; from a feeling approach, it comes from empathy for someone suffering or in misfortune, according to the dictionary.
Can you access compassion for someone who is with hate or blame? Can you let go of judgments? Maybe if you are aware, compassion doesn't need agreement to someone's deeds or actions. Compassion is neutral, fréé of judgements.
OK, that is to others, how about you? Can you stay away from blaming, shaming or judging yourself? Go to self-compassion?
Nienke confused self-compassion for a long time with self-pity. Giving the solution to others to show compassion is not sustainable. Self-pity was due to life experiences, something she felt allergic to. She had a judgement about that. It blocked her from accessing self-compassion, feeling it, living it, and grounding herself as a Phoenix Frequency.  With the HeartMastery program and the Heart Ambassadors Community, the portal opened. How about you?

We are all responsible for how we show up in the world, to others, ánd to ourselves. With Phoenix Frequencies, Nienke van Bezooijen shines her light on what we can do to be the best versions of ourselves based on how we show up and what we are willing to learn. It isn't about showing the way with pretended positivity, it is the heart-based vulnerability-sharing options. It takes courage to rise. See what is for you. Or share with others. Perfect doesn't exist; curiosity can be the stepping stone to broaden your perspectives.

Courage to move on from the past,
Trust to be with the present,
Rise to create a new future.
